Galatians 6:7 Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap.
The outcome of our lives is dependent on what we put in.
I have a problem when people say that once God has said it, it shall come to pass. It’s not entirely true because we could make what God has intended to be the outcome of our lives, be of no effect if we decide to take a different turn.
In Deuteronomy 30:19, the Bible says; “This day, I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live.“
We have to make choices and those choices will determine the outcome of our lives. Whatever you put in, you get out.
Job 4:8 As I have observed, those who plow evil and those who sow trouble reap it.
If the Bible says that By their fruits, you shall know them, it means there is something that has been sown that we can’t see physically but the fruits that are borne would give an indication of what was sown.
Luke 6:45 For of the abundance of the heart, his mouth speaketh. So, what the mouth spoke revealed what was in the heart since we can’t see the details of the heart.
The outcome of our lives is based on the decisions we make and these decisions are based on what we have inside of us….the seeds we’ve sown.
You can’t outgrow what you know. In other words, you can’t perform any better than the work you’ve put in. Your knowledge determines your level of conquest thus, you can only prevail over that which you know. If you don’t know, there’s nothing you can do.
You can’t produce what you haven’t been feeding yourself with. So if we want to change the outcome of our lives, we need to be mindful of the things we feed on, the information we access because it’s that information we’re going to use in making life decisions.
People who write really well are people who read. If you are not a reader, you can’t be an author.
Authors produce work based on what they know. People who speak wisdom, know that much because some input has been made. They’ve been through tons of studies and put work into that field of endeavor.
So before you want to be like someone, consider the work they’ve had to put in. Even our salvation is to be worked out according to Phillipians 2:12.
For anything that’s of value, a lot of input has been made. God will not just do something because He planned it. If you don’t do what must be done to walk in that blessing, you’d see nothing and say God is not faithful.
We need to play our role and make the necessary inputs so the output can be great. Garbage in, garbage out.
